The Bus
A bus is a bus, I agree. However, 2 little things called my attention in the UK.
First, ALL buses are equipped with an automatic ramp, deploying on the sidewalk. All passengers with reduced mobility can use public transportation quite easily.
I am not an expert in public transports around the world, but in France at least, we still have to make a loooot of efforts.
Then (and London is an exception again), bus drivers wait that you seat before accelerating. Avoiding falls. Drivers pay a special attention when an elderly person gets on the bus. You might have a good balance, admit that you have been surprised once by the sudden acceleration of the driver. Especially with the new electric buses!
