Poppy

You can notice them all year long, but you will find a whole bunch of poppies in October/November. Everywhere. On the companies’ nametags. on shirts and sweaters. Even cars… These little poppy-shaped pins are very important to the British people. It is a symbol of commemoration (that took a lot of importance after World War I). We wear it to remember the casualties. Respect of veterans and dead in action is definitely more important than in France. Don’t miss it even if History is not my cup of tea. The British won’t appreciate… So go to the supermarket and buy one.
